Submissions

We are seeking original articles on topics related to crime scene investigation. These would include articles describing specific investigative techniques, and case reports.

Articles may be submitted by e-mail to the address above, or on CD-ROM to the postal address above.



Format

Articles should be submitted in electronic format, either as plain text (.txt) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files.
Manuscripts must be written in good English. Authors whose native language is not English are strongly advised to have their manuscripts checked for style, syntax and grammar prior to submission.



Illustrations

Computer generated illustrations are acceptable, contact the editor to determine an appropriate file format. Photographs are also acceptable and are encouraged. As there is no additional cost associated with color reproduction in an electronic format, color photographs are preferred. Digital photographs should be .jpg format and 300 dpi for preparation of high quality .pdf files. If you need assistance scanning illustrations or photographs, contact the editor. Files should be named clearly, and the text should note placement of illustations (i.e., {Illustration 1, bar_graph.jpg}...).



References

References should be noted in the text by number, in order of mention. Use numerals in brackets (i.e., "according to Lee [1]...").
References should conform to the following format:
Periodicals- Author, Title of Article, Journal Name, Year, Volume, Pages.
Books- Author, Book Title, Edition, Publisher, Place of Publication, Year, Pages.
